Trellis Lighting at Christopher Columbus Park, North End

Join MAGIC 106.7, Mayor Marty Walsh and Santa Claus for the annual Trellis Lighting at Christopher Columbus Park in Boston's North End on Monday, November 20th starting at 5pm!  The lighting display, sponsored by the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, features 260 feet of trellises with 50,000 white lights above and blue below to reflect the park's waterfront location!  Enjoy local entertainment, refreshments, giveaways and a visit from Santa himself!

Quincy Tree Lighting

The activities will kick off at 5:00 pm and includes the Donna Marie Children’s Puppet show, Costumed Characters, and the combined Quincy/ North Quincy Choir. The performances will be held inside of a heated tent that will be set up on the lawn. At 6:00 PM, Mayor Thomas P. Koch will turn on the Christmas lights at the library and throughout Quincy Center to mark the beginning of our holiday season. Please join family and friends and enjoy free popcorn…

City of Quincy Christmas Parade

The parade has over 100 units which include high school and adult marching bands from around the state, Christmas themed floats, and many more exciting entries. This holiday tradition is often attended by multiple generations of families who usually have a favorite spot along the route; Hancock Street between School Street and East Squantum Street. The parade kicks off at School Street intersection starting at 12:30.

As the holiday season approaches, Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive in the most fitting way for this seaport town... by US Coast Guard boat! Welcome Santa on the Sunday after Thanksgiving as he and Mrs. Claus dock at the boardwalk and begin to parade through downtown Newburyport, then gather in Market Square for the annual Christmas tree lighting and carols.
