MMP: Sue's Entertainment Update: 40+ Celebrities To Raise Money for Hurricane Aid in Tonight's Telethon

More than 40 celebrities will be participating in an hour long commercial-free telethon TONIGHT, to raise money for those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The telecast will be held in the Universal Studios lot, Times Square and Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry. It will be live-streaming internationally on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, AOL, Huffington Post and Yahoo. Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, George Clooney, Andy Cohen, P Diddy, Terry Crews, Billy Crystal, Ellen, Robert De Niro, Hilary Duff, Jamie Foxx, Tom Hanks, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah and many more


The Boston premiere of “Stronger” will take place at the Spaulding Rehab Hospital in Charlestown TONIGHT- People are starting to toss around Oscar buzz, hinting that Jake Gyllenhaal’s performance could earn him his first Oscar-nomination since 2006’s “Brokeback Mountain. Gyllenhaal plays 27 yr old Jeff Bauman, who had a history of not following through when it came to his relationship. Then on April 15, 2013, he finally showed up to the marathon to win back his ex-girlfriend Erin, who was running. While waiting for her at the finish line — the bomb went off next to him. He lost both of his legs… Bauman said he wanted the premiere to be at Spaulding because that’s where he began his journey toward recovery...

Though an "IT" sequel won’t be out till 2019, new details have been revealed. The upcoming sequel will have the child actors from the first film coming back, working as flashback scenes for the adult versions of their characters that inform the present day scenes… In the book, Mike is the only member of the Losers’ Club to stay behind in Derry, Maine while the rest of his friends move away and live their lives. Mike becomes the librarian and is the one who brings Pennywise back to life by interviewing people in the town. But in the sequel, Mike will be mentally and physically weakened by the time his friends return to the town because of what he knows...

Harrison Ford showed off his traffic-directing abilities in New York after a tunnel backup caused his car to be blocked in. In the video, (because of course there was video) Ford gets out of his car after a back-up caused him to get stuck in the Midtown tunnel between two other cars. In the video he starts yelling “Get out!” and “Go!” at one driver, eventually clearing a path for himself and hopping into his car and driving off.
