The Patriots acquired two 767 Boeing wide-body planes to use for team travel, becoming the first NFL team to do so. The club bought the jets this off season and retrofitted them with first-class seats throughout. Some of those seats recline all the way. The outside of one of planes reads “Patriots’’ above the team logo and features 5 Lombardi trophies on the tail. The planes are extended range, allowing for non-stop travel up to 12 hours.
