Biebs can do no wrong.
The teenage hysteria-inducing pop superstar continues his takeover of all of mankind. This time, he's placing his name alongside the likes of Brittney Spears and Mariah Carey, which is not bad company to keep.
With the chart-blazing hit single, "I'm The One," Justin Bieber joins Spears and Carey as the only artists to ever debut atop the Billboard Hot 100. Not to toot his own horn, but this also makes Bieber the only male soloist to make his mark on the No. 1 spot multiple times. His previous chart-topper debut was the 2015 summer jam "What Do You Mean?" This actually marks his fourth time overall sitting atop the charts.
Carey is the only artist in history to debut at the No. 1 spot with three different songs. Coincidentally enough, Bieber, Carey and Spears combine for one-fourth of all songs to ever debut at the top spot on the Billboard 100. Together the three share 7 of the 28 songs to ever debut at No. 1.
Is it too late now to say sorry, world, for the complete and utter domination?
