We Love The New 'Bachelorette' Pick

While Bachelor Nick Viall is still on the hunt to find true love (who do you think he’ll end up with?)...

... the ever-popular show’s producers have already revealed their selection for next season’s Bachelorette: Rachel Lindsay, an attorney from Texas. Jimmy Kimmel made the announcement on his show. Some were stunned by the timing of the news, since technically Lindsay is still in the running to be Viall’s fiancée on the current season of The Bachelor. However, most members of Bachelor Nation were thrilled, explaining that they look forward to watching more of Lindsay’s charismatic personality.

While the news is exciting, it also has historic significance for the show: Lindsay will be the franchise’s first African-American person to be cast in a lead role. She stopped by Good Morning America to talk about her thoughts on her new title.
