Jon Bon Jovi may be busy right now with his various philanthropic efforts, but fans can expect new music from Bon Jovi very soon.
In an interview with CBS News, it was revealed that a new album from the band will be coming out in September, which will officially be the first album without guitarist Richie Sambora. (2015’s album Burning Bridges still featured songwriting credits from Sambora, even though he left the band in 2013.)
Fans, of course, are wondering if Bon Jovi has had any interaction with Sambora since, and in the interview, Bon Jovi said he hasn’t seen Sambora “in over three years” and that “He just didn’t show up for work anymore.”
While it’s still weird to imagine Bon Jovi sans Sambora, it’s looking like any reconciliation isn’t in the cards any time soon.
