When Ellen DeGeneres and Ellen Pompeo got to talking about Grey's Anatomy, Pompeo got a little over zealous about Patrick Dempsey's (abrupt) departure.
"Everybody thought because Patrick [Dempsey] was leaving that it wouldn't do well, but it's doing very well," Pompeo is quoted saying to DeGeneres by E!, but then she dropped this notation, which we are going to censor: "It's amazing how much you get done without a p***s!" referring to the male parts.
It probably was one of the more bold things said on The Ellen Show in regards to another person, and according to E!'s article, DeGeneres said "I'm just gonna let that one go."
It was a pretty bold statement, and "Meredith Grey" now has the floor for a more well rounded acting segment. Still, we can't help but feel that statement was packed with a little malice despite her "We miss him dearly" nod.
Long live Derek and Meredith.
