Though Bryan Cranston is going head to head with Leonardo DiCaprio and a slew of other actors, he's just excited he was nominated for Trumbo.
The nominations for the Oscars were released yesterday, and Bryan told E! how stoked he was to be in the running. When asked how he would celebrate his nomination, he said the following:
"What I want to do is I'd love to have a quiet dinner at home with my wife and daughter," he dished. "Put a log on the fire and have a sip of champagne and mark the day and celebrate the day and don't let it go by without saying, 'This is pretty remarkable, what an honor.' I'm deliriously happy!"
Here's his competition in his road to the Oscars:
Eddie Redmayne, The Danish Girl
Leonardo DiCaprio, The Revenant
Matt Damon, The Martian
Michael Fassbender, Steve Jobs
The biggest battle seems to be the stigma that follows Leonardo DiCaprio, given that he's NEVER won an Oscar for any role. We will see if Leo gets the win this year, or if it will go to Cranston.
