Well, at least, her agent said no.
According to E!, John Stamos told Andy Cohen the following:
"We actually went to—I don't think this has been talked about...I didn't do it, I think Jeff Franklin did—I said, 'Call the sister [Elizabeth Olsen]. Ask her'…We talked to her agent and her agent was like, 'Come on she's not going to do that,' but we did call her agent."
They must have believed that Elizabeth Olsen was also too big for the role, with her reoccurring role in the Marvel Universe as Scarlet Witch in The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War.
What a bummer, considering that even though the whole show pretty much surrounded Michelle as a big character (originally played by both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen), that there won't be a Michelle to carry it through - even with her grown up nature.
The question that raises is this: Will Fuller House still be awesome without an Olsen? Whichever Olsen you could get? Or will it fall flat, kinda like Girl Meets World (Boy Meets World reboot)?
Time will tell.
