Talk about that being a surprise!
There had been talks about Bruno Mars making a double take, and Taylor Swift rocking the stage, but it looks like the boys of Coldplay won out!

According to Us Weekly, the 50th Anniversary will house Coldplay, and a source to Us Weekly says that Bruno Mars will still be involved somehow, which could make for a very neon colored, monkey dancing, insane spectacle of the whole event.
As far as Coldplay news is concerned, the band will be putting out their new album, A Head Full Of Dreams on Friday, December 4, and the Superbowl will be on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016.
