Vanessa Williams Gets A Long Overdue Apology For Miss America Scandal
Though Miss Georgia Betty Cantrell took home the crown last night for the Miss America pageant, the true star was Vanessa Williams. Following the 1983/1984 scandal in which Penthouse decided to publish photos of Vanessa from two years prior, Vanessa gave up her crown, in pursuit of the moral high ground. Though TIME admits that Williams only worked for Miss America to get the Scholarship money for school, she ended up making a name for herself in entertainment long after the scandal was gone. The CEO of Miss America brought Vanessa on stage and assured the world that she deserved her crown, saying "I want to apologize for anything that was said or done that made you feel any less than the Miss America that you are and Miss America you always will be." 10 Military Moms Breast Feed In Camouflage To Bring Awareness To Breast Feeding Normalcy
There are no braver Americans than the ones that fight for this country, and here's to prove that further with 10 of our service women, in camouflage, breast feeding their children. Tara Ruby Photography posted the image on Facebook, which has since spread like wildfire, to add to the hashtag #NormalizeBreastFeeding. Though there will be critics, the world has made sure that they are adding to this cause that it's a normal practice of life, down to women who breast feed carrying business cards that thank other women for feeding their children in public, rather than hiding. Kanye West Made Someone Else Mad, But Not Who You'd Think - New York Fashion Designers
In defense of Mr. West, if your fashion line can be overshadowed by a last minute addition of Kanye having his show, then maybe you need to re-think how impacting your line really is... At least that's our take. Anne Bowen and Naeem Khan planned for New York Fashion Week, when last minute, Kanye inserted himself into the lineup. Bowen told WWD: “We have been prepping for a year for this at considerable financial, labor- and commitment-cost to our company. Our show date has been scheduled for months and has been on the Fashion Calendar for weeks. We went through all the proper channels to make this a reality. And just yesterday we learned that Kanye West is having a show at the same time on the same date as ours. Kanye knows he is a media sensation and it is just not ethical to do this. It’s like we are David and he is Goliath. We have put our heart and soul into our show, and should not be stepped on like this." We will admit, her show being bumped to the 17th at 12:30 rather than the 16th at Noon probably does stink a tad, but hey, you've got one more day to prep yourselves now.

According To E!, Rihanna and Travis Scott Are The Real Deal Now
Rihanna has a new man in her life, and this time it's a legitimate relationship, and not tabloid fodder (as far as we know!). Rihanna is now linked to rapper Travis Scott, who she's been repeatedly seen with the last two weeks, packing on the PDA. E! reports sources seeing them out together, saying "Rihanna likes Travis a lot and hopes it develops into something more. All of her friends think he is gonna be the keeper." Well, let's hope so. People are still saying it's a rumor due to some NSFW postings on her Instagram, but hey, maybe she just wants a little privacy...
