There was a time when French cooking was considered stylish "haute cuisine."  After that, it seemed there was an Italian restaurant on every corner serving Parmagiana.
I rediscovered my love for French food at the old Maison Robert restaurant here in Boston, and French Creole when I am in the Caribbean.  Some friends have introduced me to some incredible Vietamese Pho (soup).
