Say what you will about Taylor Swift, but she cares deeply about her fans.
Today on "What Did Taylor Swift Do Now?" We commend her for paying attention to public outcries of her fan base. 11-year old Naomi Oakes was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia, and according to E! cannot leave the hospital for six to nine months. This diagnosis, and the amount of time she has to stay in the hospital ruined her plans to go to Swift's Aug. 18 concert.
The family created a music video dubbed as "Naomi's Bad Blood" and deemed Taylor's song "Bad Blood" as her fight song.
Swifties around the world chimed in after it was uploaded, hoping that Taylor would see the clip and reach out to Naomi. She did more than just that, she sent her $50,000 via Naomi's Go Fund Me page.
In increments of money, Taylor's message read the same:
Naomi's reaction was the best:
Since 11AM this morning, Naomi is up to $66,000+ on her GoFundMe account.
Taylor Swift, you truly are the best pop star that ever lived.
