Lady Gaga Always Striving To Improve

Lady Gaga told attendees when she accepted the Contemporary Icon Award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame 46th Annual Induction and Awards gala on Thursday night in New York City that she feels that her writing is in it’s infancy.

People.com shared that Gaga got choked up because she knew she wrote many bad songs before she wrote a good one. She also shared that she had so many people to look up to, and some of them whom have done things she’s only dreamed of, but that she felt honored to accept an award for her “heartbeat, which is that I write songs.”

Gaga’s work with Tony Bennett brought him there to grant her the award, and Gaga was also able to perform one of Linda Perry’s songs with 4 Non Blondes entitled “What’s Up.”

Gaga has won over 200 awards since her success broke in 2009, and we guarantee she will win a lot more before her career is over, and it’s great to see someone so humble that always wants to get better at what they do.

Cheers Gaga!
