We’re not going to beat around the bush: we really, really, really like Carly Rae Jepsen’s new single.
The pop star is back with an infectious follow-up to “Call Me Maybe,” and if you were worried that it wouldn’t live up to her last hit’s earworm status, don’t be.
The song, titled “I Really Like You,” was released on Sunday,” and Justin Bieber took time out of his 21st birthday to promote the song and the music video, which is set to include Tom Hanks.

“After shooting the video I am still in happy shock,” Jepsen told EW about filming. “Tom was hilarious and though it was absolutely freezing he kept our spirits up by shouting ‘huddle together now – like penguins’ when all 60 of us wanted to give up! I can’t thank him enough!”
You might remember that Bieber enlisted Selena Gomez and Ashley Tisdale to record a video for “Call Me Maybe,” helping turn it into a smash hit, so they’re clearly hoping to recapture the magic three years later.
Jepsen’s also set to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” later this week for a live performance of the new track.
Take a listen and let us know if you like “I Really Like You” in the comments!
