Nick Cannon’s still got Mariah Carey’s back.
While hanging out in the Bravo clubhouse, Cannon was forced to “Plead the Fifth.”
He told “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen that Mimi wasn’t singing about him, when she changed the lyrics to Billie Holiday’s “Don’t Explain” while onstage in Tokyo.
As you might recall, video surfaced of Mariah singing “I know you cheated, mothereffer” instead of “And I know you cheat.”
“But weren’t they the lyrics already. She just added the mothereffer to it,” he told Andy. “Was I the mothereffer? I have… No, that was not… I don’t believe that was about me.”
For what it’s worth, he also denied recording any of his hookups with ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian. He also claimed that “Glitter” was an “awesome” movie with an even better soundtrack.
At least he didn’t have the audacity to wear white sneakers with a black outfit like Bobby Cannavale.
