Kelly Osbourne on Leaving “Fashion Police”: “I’m Excited for My Future”

While Kelly Osbourne’s seat on “Fashion Police” has yet to be filled, she borrowed another vacant chair this week to talk about her exit.

She joined her mother Sharon and the other ladies of “The Talk” while Sara Gilbert is on maternity leave, and in a video shared by the “Daily Mail,” she expressed her feelings about her departure.

“It was the five best working years of my life. I am so grateful for the experience, I can’t even… Like, working with Joan Rivers for five years is incredible. I learned so much, and it’s just, you know, I’m excited for my future now. I want to try new things.

Osbourne vacated “Fashion Police” less than two months after the show returned in January for the Golden Globes, following a hiatus due to Rivers’s passing.

“Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s “Fashion Police” to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers,” E! said in a statement.

“Fashion Police” will be back on Friday, March 30, and a replacement has not yet been announced.
