In the not-so-distant future, Jennifer Lawrence might find herself a movie star without a franchise.
With “The Hunger Games” series coming to an end later this year, J.Law still has another “X-Men” sequel to film. But after that, Lawrence says she’s D.O.N.E.
When being interviewed by MTV News, J.Law took a moment from talking about her friend’s scabies to explain that “X-Men: Apocalypse” will be her final film in that particular franchise.
“It is my last one, actually,” she told MTV of her role as Mystique.
While fans everywhere might be on their knees weeping at the news, it probably comes as a bit of a relief for Lawrence.
When she first appeared in “X-Men: First Class,” she said her transformation into the blue bombshell took eight hours. Though she told Jimmy Fallon last year that she’s down to “only” three hours in the makeup chair, that’s still no picnic.
Check out her very funny interview with MTV (her exit news comes at the tail end) and let us know if you’ll miss J.Law’s Mystique in the comments!
