“Frozen 2” is confirmed. I repeat, “Frozen 2” is confirmed.
Disney spread the word on their official blog on Thursday, bringing joy to the hearts of children and adults all over the world and ensuring that nobody will ever stop making “let it go” puns.
The good news is that a shareholders meeting today, with Josh "Olaf" Gad in attendance, it was also confirmed that directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will be back along with screenwriter Jennifer Lee.
The bad news? The release date is still up in the air and the voice cast has not been confirmed to return.
But they’d be crazy not to, considering that "Frozen" is the fifth highest-grossing film of all time.
For now, fans will have to be satisfied by “Frozen Fever,” the new short airing before screenings of Disney’s live-action “Cinderella” beginning this weekend.
