Nearly 20 years later, and Adam Sandler and Bob Barker still haven’t been able to bury the hatchet.
The “Happy Gilmore” stars did reconvene for a hilarious update for Comedy Central’s “Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together for Autism Programs.”
Sandler pops in to say hello to Barker – looking great for 91 – in the hospital, and it doesn’t take long to get ugly.
“You’re looking chunkier than the soup,” Barker says, lobbing the first insult.
It only escalates from there, with the former “Price Is Right” insulting Sandler’s baby talk voice, and that’s when it comes to blows.
After Barker ensures their mutual destruction, he gets in the best jab of the five-minute bit, telling him, “I wish I could see David Spade’s face when he finds out there won’t be a ‘Grown Ups 3.’”
When both stars go to “heaven,” take special notice of the crowd cheering a little too loudly when they show that Adam Sandler has “died.”
“Night of Too Many Stars,” hosted by Jon Stewart, helps support schools, programs, and services for people with autism all over the country.
