Paula Patton is done blurring the lines between youth and adulthood.
The actress will stop by “The Meredith Vieira Show” on Tuesday, and E! News has a sneak peek from the revealing interview.
Patton opens up about her divorce from Robin Thicke, explaining that since he was her high school sweetheart, she’d never really lived on her own before.
“I live in a place of gratitude and growing up in many ways, I think, I moved from my parents’ house to moving in with Robin. And now I’m like becoming an adult at this old age. I’m like a real woman now,” she told Meredith.
Of course, 39 is certainly not “old age,” but it’s great to hear that the “Baggage Claim” star is doing so well after their widely-publicized split.
That’s not to say it’s been easy. As she explained to Meredith, the hardest thing is “accepting the new reality.”
